SendPdbs now automatically retries when encountering an authentication failure. This could happen, for example, when a server in our crash analyzer fleet shutdowns during the authentication process. In this case, the retry will hit a new server.

The latest release of SendPdbs, the BugSplat symbol upload utility, provides important new capabilities. This release removes the size limitation imposed on any one symbol store. (A symbol store is a group of symbols identified by an application name and version.)
In addition, all symbols uploaded will be available to any crash report in your BugSplat database. Therefore you no longer need to closely coordinate the parameters used with SendPdbs and those used to initialize your application.
The utility is also included as part of our Windows SDKs. The newest version is a drop-in replacement for previous versions.

Update to the latest version of SendPDBs before January 1st, 2023
As part of our ongoing security program, BugSplat will eliminate support for the TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 protocols by the end of the year. As a result of this change, customers using older versions of our symbol upload utility, SendPdbs, will need to upgrade to the latest version.
We encourage you to upgrade quickly. However, support for the existing versions of SendPdbs will remain until the end of the year.
The latest version of SendPdbs is 2.3.0.0. Older versions are not compatible with TLS 1.2. You can identify your SendPdbs version by running the utility in a command window without any arguments.
All customers using SendPdbs will need to upgrade to the most recent version of the application before January 1st, 2023.
Unreal Engine 5.3 support
Required Password Reset (August 4th, 2023): All BugSplat users must reset the password associated with their BugSplat account. Emails containing a password reset link have been sent to all users. If you missed that email, you can view it here or visit our and follow the steps below for 'Resetting a forgotten password.'
These changes make it much easier to integrate with BugSplat, especially in environments where coordinating version numbers is difficult or where very large symbol stores are required. Download the latest release at .
